Brian Pennix, CSB, a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, discusses how our innocence is always intact and can be expressed in daily life because we are the image and likeness of the one all-good and innocent God.

“Through my practice of Christian Science, I’ve come to see that God is Love itself, loving unconditionally, which empowers each of us with God-derived innocence,” says Mr. Pennix. “It indicates we can find safety and have an undoubting expectation of good. Our innate innocence means we always deserve to be free from pain, both mental and physical, as I have experienced many times in my life. And we have the ability to bring freedom and goodness to others, even those who would victimise.”

The talk will focus on universal healing precepts found in the Holy Bible, especially in Christ Jesus’ life and teachings, and show how they are available for anyone to understand and experience.

Mr. Pennix will explain why Christian Science is both Christian and scientific, meaning that anyone can prove its effectiveness for themselves, as fully described in the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, written by the founder of the Christian Science movement, Mary Baker Eddy.

The talk is free and open to the community.
