Do you want to come and learn in our makerspace at Darling Square Library with your children?
Join this 3-hour session to get an introduction to our 3D printers, laser cutters, microscopes and electronic and robotics kits.
We’ll introduce you to a series of festive themed projects designed to develop your creative thinking skills. You could make a light-up or hand printed card, assemble a laser cut festive ornament, or a make a piece of perspex jewellery.
In this session, experienced facilitators will be on hand to introduce you to a range of festive making projects and show you the space and its equipment.
Cost: $10 for each child (accompanying adults are free).
Suitable for: 8 to 15 years. Parents or guardians must attend with their children.
Experience level: no prior making experience required.
We think carefully about the suggested age range for our activities and this workshop is only appropriate for children over the age of 8 years.
