12 Hours World Record Tour Guinness Book of Records Attempt - Beyond Blue Fundraiser 

9 venues in 12 hours 11am - 11pm

Sydney band Fathom aim to break the Guinness World Record for the most concerts in 12 hours across multiple cities, kicking off in Singleton and playing at venue pitstops at Newcastle, Gosford, Sydney, Penrith, Lithgow, Bathurst, Goulburn and ending in Canberra.

The Sydney show will be at Sean & Dolly's and is supported by Fifth Valley, Book Club and Heterchromia. Fathom step on stage from 3.05pm for a half hour set then zoom off to Penrith.

About Fathom

Sydney band Fathom is a dream-pop and synth-pop duo, who seamlessly blend synth pop and indie rock with dreamy and stream-of-conciousness lyrics. Their synth rock essence and moody songwriting is reminiscent of Beach House, Crumb, Mazzy Star and The Cranberries. 

After playing shows around Sydney since 2022, Fathom made their festival debut in Deniliquin at the most recent Play on the Plains Festival, performing alongside King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizzard and Alex Lahey.

Fathom released their acclaimed 4-track indie-pop/rock EP, With Good Intentions, in late 2025. Blending synth-pop textures, dreamy soundscapes, and literary inspirations like T.S. Eliot.

The release earned warm praise across Australian community radio, including notable support from triple j's Ebony Jade, who likened standout track "Paralysed" to a "beautiful rainy day song" reminiscent of Mazzy Star. Tracks include "Bright", "Paralysed", "Dust" & "Do I Dare?”

The Sydney dream-prog duo is Cate Guirguis and Jaxon Italiano and they are attempting a 12-hour multi-city tour on September 12, 2026, to break a Guinness World Record while raising funds for Beyond Blue. 50 percent of ticket sales will be donated to Beyond Blue and the remaining 50 percent of ticket sales will go to pay the support bands.

Jason has previously broken the world record for the most number of pull ups in 2022, raising funds for Dementia Australia. 

Currently the most concerts performed in 12 hours (multiple cities) is 8, and was achieved by Minhee Jones (UK) on 7th December 2019.
