Family Sunday: Drawing Hand to Hand with Liz Anelli

This Family Sunday, author and illustrator Liz Anelli will share her latest book. Inspired by the 2020 bushfires, Hand to Hand shares a powerful and positive message of animal rescue and rehabilitation. Liz will reveal lots of fascinating information about koalas, and you will participate in a drawing and collage activity.

Liz once had a job dusting dinosaurs at London’s Natural History Museum. Since then, she has illustrated lots of books for children. Her picture books have attracted many accolades. Dry to Dry: The Seasons of Kakadu, written by Pamela Freeman, won the CBCA Eve Pownall Award for information Books in 2021.

All materials are provided.

This workshop is suitable for 5+ aged children.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer, and everyone requires a ticket.
