Intergenerational groups will be guided through Minecraft activities and games before changing into ‘creative mode’ to design their own Minecraft creation inspired by the Powerhouse Space exhibit.
This family-friendly short workshop is designed to encourage conversations between young learners and adults that establish a framework for learning to continue at home.
Participants will be provided with computers for the session, which uses Minecraft Education Edition — a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem-solving in an immersive digital environment. The Minecraft world used is safe, private and accessible only at Powerhouse.
Recommended for ages 7+. Children must be accompanied by an adult, although one adult may accompany multiple children within a small group of family and friends. Bookings essential for all participants (children and adults).
