The 1960s was a time of unrest and change – and the music of the times reflected this.
Drummer/bandleader/educator Andrew Dickeson and his group will explore the diverse music of this decade – from the Soul Jazz of Stanley Turrentine, the spiritual sounds of John Coltrane, the post-bop freedom of Jackie McLean, and much more.
Andrew will be joined by Chris O’Dea and Michael Griffin on saxes, Aaron Blakey on piano, and Jacob Graham on bass for a night of swinging, beautiful and intense music.
