Eveleigh Works grand opening

Sydney’s first blacksmithing school throws a grand opening party.

Get your aprons on! Whip out that hairy chest! Yodel.

For the first time ever, Sydney’s first blacksmithing school, Eveleigh Works, is throwing a party.

Experience the majesty of the Southern Hemisphere’s oldest piece of industrial architecture. See the magic of forging red-hot steel with forging and traditional tool-making demonstrations.

Starting at 1pm you’ll get to see our blacksmith instructors forge things by hand and furnace and see the incredible equipment and facilities of this workshop.

A party ain’t a party without some boot stomping tunes. We’ve got a killer line-up of local bands, featuring The Sweet Jelly Rolls, Indigo Rising and more.

Booze by local brewers Young Henry, Japanese nom noms by Rising Sun Workshop. All within the beautiful industrial cathedral of the Eveleigh Loco workshops.
