When Tatyana (Lauren Fagan) meets the dashing Eugene Onegin (Andrei Bondarenko), she feels her own love story beginning.

A dreamer, lost in books and romance, she is devastated when he rejects her passion. But more than hearts are broken as the story unfolds. Tatyana and Onegin’s choices will haunt their lives forever.

Tchaikovsky’s sumptuous music adds lashings of emotion to Pushkin’s classic tale of unrequited love. Former Royal Opera House director Kasper Holten’s widely acclaimed production plays with memory and regret, with “deeply moving” (Limelight) results.
