In partnership with the University of Sydney’s Conservatorium of Music, The Women’s Club will showcase 17 emerging musicians performing ten hours of music by Australian female composers across nine concerts.

Gemma Navarrete is a Western Sydney based musician who creates RnB /pop infused music with concise, poetic lyrics that depict the clunky transition from adolescent to adult. Beginning her music journey at 10 years old, Gemma was adamant that music was her calling after no other hobby fulfilled her as singing and songwriting did. Drawing from influences such as Ariana Grande, Snoh Aalegra and Omar Apollo, the songstress intends to create a refreshingly new sound which holds a sense of nostalgia and adolescence. Debuting with her single “Older”, the songstress intends to continue to release music which speaks to the optimist in all of us.

Arrive 15 minutes before for morning tea.
