Edible art for children

School holiday workshop: healthy fun for kids using fresh produce from the Thursday market.

Held during the Thursday produce market, bring your child to create works of art on a plate!

Do you have a budding young artist or chef in the family? Do you like the idea of making art and eating it too?

During the Renaissance, Italian artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo assembled unusual portraits using fruits, vegetables and plant materials.

Let Sheridan Rogers show you how much fun food can really be. Create bright and colourful pictures from all sorts of savoury and sweet ingredients in one of her edible art workshops.

Sheridan Rogers has had over 30 years experience as a food writer, stylist and cookery book author.

For children 8-12 years old (with a year on either side), with a little help from Mum or Dad.
