Drawn from nature with Charlotte Thodey

Join the popular tutor for a drawing class inspired by nature

This informal-style drawing class is suited to beginners and those who wish to refresh their drawing skills. The focus will be quick loose sketching from a chosen subject, or outside if weather permits.

Includes morning tea, and lunch on the Foundation & Friends Terrace.

Charlotte Thodey is renowned for her bold renderings of fruit and vegetables. She loves to create using shadow and light, with blemishes and lusciousness intact. Her sumptuous artworks demonstrate the freedom enjoyed by the still-life artist.

Charlotte has exhibited her work for over 25 years, has produced a number of posters for the Botanic Garden and Historic Houses Trust, and devising and illustrating books. She regularly teaches classes at the Royal Botanic Garden and exhibits her work throughout Australia and France.
