Enter the weird and wonderful world of polymathy, synaesthesia and ekphrasis… lean into poetry, art and live music to develop intersensory approaches to your creative practice.

The Salons presents this relaxed, practical session for musicians, visual artists and creative writers who are curious to develop their practice through intersensory experience. In the safe space of Newtown’s Garden Lounge, we’ll draw from poetry, visual artwork and live music to harness the sensed crossings between words, images and sounds. Tap into the magical worlds of polymathy, synaesthesia and ekphrasis.

Develop practical methods for overcoming obstacles such as writer’s block, the blank page, artistic flatlining and motivational stagnation.

Or simply come and enjoy paired-back performances and artists of all kinds at work!

All ages welcome, suitable for artists and writers of all levels.

Bookings welcome, tickets available at the door.
