Short Course: Painting still life

Learn about, tone, brush application and colour mixing in this 4-hour Saturday painting workshop for beginners.

You will work from a still-life arrangement with drawing and painting materials including pencil and acrylic paints. You will be guided by a professional artist to build your creative confidence and learn new painting skills.

This is a great workshop for developing new ways of seeing in a fun and relaxed environment, with gentle guidance from professional artists. 

No prior experience is necessary to enjoy this short workshop.

  • Intimate class size: maximum 10 students 

  • Level: designed for beginner level students 

  • Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes 

  • Bring: apron
