SIMA presents the Jazz:NOW Summer Festival featuring;
Double Bill: Emanation + Delay 45
Emerging musicians with bold creativity and innovation that’s equal to the masters
Chloe Kim has established herself as a rivetting performer who continues to extend the language of jazz and improvised drumming. Now with the support of SIMA, Chloe has developed a new all-star project that draws on her memories of growing up listening to gospel and classical music and her solo drum work.
Delay 45 launch their brilliant new album flux, on Earshift Records. Following on from their critically acclaimed debut big ears, the sophomore release features all the colour and texture that the group has become known for – with greater confidence and energy.
“bold new chapter in Australian jazz” – Sydney Morning Herald.
