Set at the order window of a fast-food joint at the start of a brand-new day, Do You Want Lies With That? is the sharp, comedic follow-up to Burger Queen’s debut solo cabaret, Drive Thru Dreams, Late-Night Regrets.

The late-night fantasy is over. The lights are on. And unfortunately... everything is clearer now.

Across a series of “combo meals” served at the window, Burger Queen unpacks the lies we learn to live with - the ones we tell ourselves, the ones handed down by family, the glossy promises sold to us by the world, and the armour we build just to get through it all.

Blending razor-sharp comedy, pop music, and an aggressively un-cheerful customer-service persona, the show skewers politeness, capitalism, confidence, and self-preservation - always landing the joke in an uncomfortable truth.

You’ll laugh first. You’ll recognise yourself second.

Fast food for the soul.

Cheap coping mechanisms.

Up-sized jokes.

No refunds.
