Held fortnightly, these tours let you discover a series of exhibitions and installations staged across the State Library of NSW that explore the stories, people and collections that have shaped the Library over the past 200 years.

Led by our knowledgeable curators, this special tour highlights the stories behind our exhibitions — from internationally recognised treasures to unexpected gems, from major portrait acquisitions to newly commissioned artworks, animation and digital installations.

Experience the Library in new and unexpected ways.

These tours meet in the Mitchell vestibule and start promptly at the advertised time. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to the start time.
