Digital: Creative photography collages 5-8 years

Sold out

Produced by the City of Sydney

In this 1-day workshop, kids will get an introduction to digital photography using our iPad minis. They’ll learn how to create digital collages with Photoshop apps.

We’ll be exploring the theme of tiny people and looking at the work of British street artist and photographer, Slinkachu, best known for his small-scale people installations. Kids will use the iPad minis to create photographs using themselves and our surrounds to create images that explore perspective and scale.

With our experienced tutor, they’ll learn basic photography composition and focusing skills and explore how to cut and paste layers to add images and text using Photoshop apps.

We’ll email their digital collaged images home so they can digitally save all the work from the day.
