Due to popular demand, Sydney’s favourite pop-up bar, Dewar’s Scotch Egg Club, has made a triumphant return to the great people of Australia. The bar that pays homage to the unique and truly delicious combination of whisky and the coveted scotch egg, will be re-hatching (sorry) in two locations.
The recent Scotch Egg Club was a huge success. People were flocking in to taste the world’s most awarded blended scotch whisky, Dewar’s 12, but also to get their mitts on the range of delicious scotch eggs, whipped up by Mitch Orr, head chef at the award winning ACME restaurant.
For the enthusiasts at heart, there will also be masterclasses held at Websters Bar (Newtown) where you can learn a lot more about whisky. Being one of Sydney’s leading whisky bars with over 400 options available, this is the ideal location to try some of the world’s most awarded drams. Here, you will have the opportunity to try all the Dewar’s blends (12, 15 and 18 years old) as well as the distinctive and award winning single malts that are used to create them. One of those single malts being Craigellachie – home of the Best Single Malt in the World 2017.
Led by some of Australia’s leading whisky bartenders, participants can experience a serving of Scotch Eggs and a dram of matching whiskies. The bar will then be open (no tickets required) from 5pm to cater to your egg and whisky needs.
