Tai Chi cultivates one’s mind and body, prevents various chronic diseases and is especially conducive to good health. There is strength as well as grace in the exercise, and it displays a combination of quietness and dynamics.
As a physical exercise, Tai Chi is suitable for middle-aged and elderly people for the purposes of maintaining health and developing personal friendships. The Chinese Youth League (CYL) Tai Chi Group was established in 2003 and has a history of 18 years. The group practises simple Tai Chi movements in the CYL clubhouse every Tuesday.
You are welcome to join CYL Tai Chi Group. In the increasingly ageing society today, this exercise helps older citizens walk with firm steps without falling. A solid foundation in Tai Chi is likely to minimize the number of incidents and accidents for elderly. You are welcome to take the opportunity to learn some of the basics in this workshop!
Covid Safe Measures will apply in compliance with the NSW Public Health Order at the time, and will include the following measures:
Entry into CYL premises by any person is subject to fully two doses vaccinations.
