Sam Joole's new record launch is an Art Experience!

This April, local singer, writer and artist Sam Joole will launch his fourth studio work – Cyclones. It will not just be amazing music, but an “art exhibition” style show of all the mediums that have inspired Sam to create. In addition to live performances, there will be collaborations and live art made by a number of emerging Australian artists.

“I want to re-imagine the concept of an album launch” said Sam, “I want to step over that line from Musician to Artist. Sound and song at the core, but visuals, dance, movement, photo, light, feel and senses are all elements. The audience can expect to watch live shows, participate in yoga, play with real-time music production tools, watch films backed by a live band, enjoy audio and visuals and discover intricate aspects of the creative process.”

The venue for the launch, 107 Projects, is a beautiful space in the inner city that cultivates emerging arts and music, so it is the perfect spot for Sam Joole’s Cyclones.

Sonically, Cyclones is a new direction for the shapeshifter, who using new technologies, delves into Dub, Glitch, Rap and Pop. It has been compared to Gorrilaz and Beck and is dangerously catchy!

Come and check it all out!
