Enjoy a new experience at your favourite Chinatown bar this June with our 'Curated by Banchō' monthly emerging artist exhibit, supported by the City of Sydney.
Join us for drinks and take in the works of a new emerging artist each month, on or within the walls of our small bar.
This June 8-26 we're showcasing the talent of local Sydney creative Alexander Wu-Kim in his and co-director Darren Luk's short film "Love Is The Seed Of Tears". The short film was created alongside his debut collection for AISON ANDÉR; a new streetwear label and platform centered around the Asian experience in Australia. Each item from the debut collection tells part of his family's story.
Wu-Kim's short film "Love Is The Seed Of Tears" will be shown daily at 5.30pm at Banchō. A selection of his look book imagery will be exhibited with the designer's personal notes until 27 June.
Banchō is a Covid-Safe venue. You will be required to check in via the NSW Government's QR code system. Please follow the venue's entry terms and conditions.
