Sarah Doyle and Joseph Valore, co-owners of Porteño and Bodega, are 2 trendsetters that have been shaping the new dining scene here in Sydney for over a decade. They’ve also thrown their weight behind legendary dining hubs including Mary’s, Continental Deli Bar & Bistro, Stanbuli, L&P Quality Meats and The Unicorn Hotel. Come along and hear how they got started in the business, what their brand means to them, and how they’ve forged such an impressive presence within Sydney’s dining scene.

Dining legend Myffy Rigby, national Good Food Guides editor and creative director of The Sydney Morning Herald‘s food and drink events, will share her wisdom on what it means to be a foodie in Sydney and the experiences she looks for when eating out. Customer experience is everything, especially within the highly competitive food scene of Sydney today. So what do people want and how do you stand out in the maddening crowd?

We’ll also have Carlita Warren, policy and public affairs director at Restaurant & Catering Australia, to discuss the support her organisation can offer to existing businesses and those starting out.
