He invented his own language (Gobblefunk), authored some of the most well-known children’s books in history, and in turn became one of the world’s most treasured writers. This month, we celebrate a century of Roald Dahl, as he turns 100 on September 13. So join us kiddles for some phizz-whizzing events that will be whoopsy-wiffling!
What do you do when you’re in a Giant Peach in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by sharks who are eyeing you off? Build a way out of course! Grasshopper, spider, centipede, earthworm, silkworm and glow worm are all on hand to save the day, as attendees of this very fruity craft activity create a mobile (with the help of some squawking seagulls).
For 5+ year olds. Adult supervision is required for those aged 10 years and under.
