Concert and Cake Sundays : The Psychedelic Cello

Sunday 3 April 2022 from 3pm to 5pm

Starting from: $35Child: FREE

Praised by Gramophone Magazine for his “captivating sensitivity” and “exhilarating authority,” Australian cellist Richard Narroway enjoys an international career as a sought-after performer, recording artist, and teacher.

Richard will open the programme with a Bach cello suite, for which he has received great critical acclaim. We shall then fast-forward to the 21st century with Melbourne based composer Tilman Robinson and his psychedelic piece for cello and electronics.

Vatche will join Richard for the whimsical Debussy sonata followed by the electrically charged Shostakovich Cello sonata.

An afternoon not to be missed! Book your tickets here.
