Live event via Zoom with Simón Palomares and Ivan Aristeguieta with Q&A at the end of the debate. Registration required. Limited tickets. Event in Spanish with simultaneous interpretation in English.

Kohonas Documentary will be available to stream from Sunday the 20th of September till Friday 25th of September (both included).

Simon Palomares is an Australian comedian and actor, born in Germany of Spanish descents, he is best known for his character as cafe manager Ricardo "Ricky" Martinez in Acropolis Now. Palomares was one of the creators and stars of the Wogs Out of Work comedy stage show, which later evolved into the Acropolis Now TV series. He has performed comedy shows in the United States, Canada, Spain and Argentina where he performs stand-up in Spanish. More recently, Palomares has toured Australia in a combination cooking program and stand-up comedy show called Palomares Cooks Calamares.

Ivan Arsiteguieta is a Venezuelan comedian who, after migrating in 2012 to Adelaide taking up the challenge of performing comedy in a second language, exploded on to the Australian comedy scene in 2016 with his brilliant observations on Aussie culture and food, taking him around the country, headlining theatres and selling out festivals. Ivan has toured for the past 4 years with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow and the Sydney International Comedy Festival Showcase Tour. In 2018 Ivan performed at the MICF Opening Night Comedy Allstars Supershow, hosted the RAW Comedy Grand Final and sold out his newest show ‘Matador’.
