Tuesday 7 July from 10am to 10:45am Friday 10 July from 2pm to 2:45pm Wednesday 15 July from 12pm to 12:45pm Friday 17 July from 2pm to 2:45pm

Everyone is invited to add their bit to our beautiful, growing artwork. We are making a giant wall mural in the JB Fairfax Learning Centre and we need your help!

This cool group project, over four sessions, needs your drawing input. You will add to a mural that will begin with one of the beautiful natural science illustrations of Australian natural history artist Helena Scott.

Get some tips for your work in the workshops on Tuesday 7 and Friday 10 July with Andrea and Susan. Then you get to draw and vibrantly colour or construct your own version of a flower, leaves and vines, or garden creature — a bug, a caterpillar, a spider in its web, or a bird.

Join our after-party on 17 July to see the finished collaborative Art Project and join a special Kahoot quiz. Get a family team together, follow the registration instructions and you will be all set to compete in this epic gameshow straight from the State Library.

A special launch will also happen at this event, for a brand new program that you can be part of. If you love art, then keep Thursdays at 4 pm free because it’s going to be FUN!

Free event. Register here.
