Prepare a shared meal and make friends with other passionate home cooks from around Sydney.
Colab Cooking Club's mission is to build a community where Sydney’s solo home cooks can connect with one another through shared cooking experiences using seasonal, locally grown produce.
Our events follow an improvisational, no-recipe cooking model.
Our aim is to be as inclusive as possible which is why the meals will be entirely plant based (subject to notified dietary requirements).
Inspired by the diversity of experience among the participants involved, the group will work together (with the help of our facilitator/host) to come up with a menu which is based on their collective experiences as well as the pantry staples and seasonal produce provided on the night.
In this way, we hope that the meals created will be a truly unique reflection of the group that produced them.
Once the group has agreed on a menu for the night, participants will work together to prepare the dishes on the menu and when they are all ready we will sit down together to enjoy the meal, each other's company and great conversation.
