Friday 9 April from 10:30am to 12:30pm Friday 9 April from 2pm to 4pm
Experience Sydney’s unforgettable public artworks with a short walking tour through Redfern, followed by an art-making workshop at Redfern Community Centre.
Guided by local Sydney artists, you’ll gain insider knowledge into culturally significant artworks and create an amazing artwork of your own, inspired by the theme of ‘place’.
City Art invites families, art enthusiasts and beginners to this free event, made possible with funding by the NSW Government’s ‘The Festival of Place’ initiative.
The tour begins on the corner of Lawson and Gibbons Streets, Redfern (outside Redfern Station) and concludes with a workshop at Redfern Community Centre on Hugo Street.
Check out our additional events on Eventbrite, including free tours and workshops in Chinatown, Redfern and the city centre.
