Circus and contemporary dance combine to create this thrilling, free, acrobatic performance set against the stunning backdrop of Darling Harbour from 26 to 28 February.

As the amazing artists tumble, dance and contort their way through a bespoke 3.3m x 3.3m cube sculpture they will create moments that are poignant, intense, playful and comic. These performers cavort to an original composition of neo-classical music.

Featuring 8 circus performers who have worked for companies including Cirque Du Soleil, Pippin, Cavalia, Circa, Circus Oz, Strut N Fret, Lido, 7fingers and Casus.

The Construct is a celebration of the freedom and hope we have found in our new normal.

This performance has been generously supported by The City of Sydney: CBD Activation Grant, CreateNSW Play the City Grant, and Merrigong Theatre Company's, 'MerrigongX" residency program.

Covid-safe information

The Construct has a Covid-Safe Plan. The performance is being presented outdoors with audience members expected to stand 1.5m apart. The apparatus is made of a non porus material and is cleaned with disinfectant after each show.
