Christmas rebooted workshops

Transform your old shoes and help create a Christmas tree succulent sculpture

Produced by the City of Sydney

Do you have old shoes destined for the bin? Bring them along to one of our workshops to be upcycled into a Christmas tree living sculpture for our Green Square Library.

At each of the workshops, you’ll work with local artist Sarah Betts aka Sharky to transform the old shoes into pot plants for succulents. The shoes will then be added to the collaborative sculpture tree which will be on display in the reading garden throughout December.

There are 4 workshop times available.

All materials to create the succulent pot plants will be supplied – just bring along any pair of old shoes.
