This festive season, Hay St Market transforms into a month-long celebration of global Christmas flavours, live entertainment and family-friendly fun. 

From 03 December, the market comes alive with Christmas classics, themed weekends, activities for kids and special one-night-only events designed to bring the community together. 

Festive Highlights 

Hay St Sounds – Christmas Edition 

Live music fills the market daily, featuring local artists, festive favorites and roaming carollers, creating the perfect backdrop for holiday catch-ups, Christmas cocktails and long summer afternoons. 

Hay St Sounds - Country Special

6–7 December  

A special country-themed edition of Hay St Sounds. 

Saturday: 4pm–7pm Sunday: 2pm–5pm 

Elf on the Shelf Treasure Hunt 

From 10 December 

Five cheeky elves hide throughout the market each day. Kids who find all of them can claim a free ice-cream. 

Hay St Kids – School Holiday Program 

12–14 December & 19–21 December 

 Daily activities at 1pm to keep little ones busy during the holidays. 

Includes face painting, Christmas cookie decorating and more family fun. 

 Ugly Christmas T-Shirt & Jumper Night + Movie Trivia 

19 December | 7pm-10pm 

 A festive night filled with Christmas Movie Trivia, themed entertainment and prizes. 

A Very Bublé Night 

20 December | 7pm–10pm 

 A smooth, soulful Christmas tribute featuring Michael Bublé classics you know and love.
