This exhibition, to be held at the Shop Gallery in Glebe, is about the birds and flowers of the Blue Mountains.
The artist, Christine Stewart, lives in Glebe but has a holiday house in Blackheath where she spends many weekends gardening and walking in the bush.
Christine is a member of the One+2 Studio group in Rozelle and has had several one woman shows, including a local one in 2014 based on the Glebe Foreshore Walk. Her most recent show in 2017 was held at the Braemar Galleries in Springwood “Prince Albert and Prince George visit the Blue Mountains in 1881”
She was the winner of the very first Glebe Art Prize in 1989, a trip to Tahiti.
