When

Friday 29 October 2021 from 6:30pm to 7:45pm

World histories are framed by those who stand tall and speak out, those who see the wrong and act. Activism is not always a choice; it is difficult and challenging work that activists do day in and out as they embody and fight against the inequalities they see.

Changemakers or Troublemakers will discuss the role of activists as perceived ‘troublemakers’ and how they navigate the personal and the public. Panellists will include City of Sydney Councillor Jess Miller, Author Randa Abdel Fattah, Advocate Atem Atem and Indigenous Rights activist, Taylah Gray.
