Celebrate Lunar New Year at Market City from 13 January to 1 March 2026 with a vibrant lineup of free events and activities:

  • Giant Year of the Horse Installations: Level 1 Centre Court and Level 3 1909 Dining Precinct, perfect for photos.

  • High Pole Lion Dance Acrobatics by Jin Wu Koon: 14 February | 2pm & 6pm 15 February | 2pm Location: Level 1, Centre Court. *Event Highlight

  • Kids Lion Dance Workshops: 7 & 22 February | 2pm, 3pm & 5pm Location: Level 1, Centre Court

  • Store Blessings with Jin Wu Koon Lion Dance Troupes: 15 February | 4.30pm – 6pm Across all three levels

  • Massive Giveaways: Lucky coins, plush horses and retail vouchers available during shows and from 12–17 February.

  • Personalised Calligraphy Station: 31 Jan - 13 Feb & 16-18 Feb. Fees apply.

  • Authentic Asian Dining: Feast at the 1909 Dining Precinct, Level 3, open daily 11am – 10pm.

Enjoy free parking after 6pm when dining at 1909 Dining Precinct or any restaurant on level 3, (just validate your ticket at the restaurant). You can also get two hours free at The Eight Modern Chinese Restaurant between 9am–3.30pm.
