Caution, Meet Wind is an audacious and unapologetic cabaret chronicling good ideas and well laid plans. All new original material written and performed by Cirque Songstress.
Before Cirque Songstress (Christine Ibrahim) took flight, she cut her teeth in the performance industry writing original music.
Wonderfully Terrible Things was her debut show in 2015. Critics referred to her vocal abilities as “rich… reminiscent of Jacques Brel” and of her compositions “inspired” (The Age).
Since then, you may have caught Cirque Songstress performing at Torture Garden (Japan), Dracula’s Cabaret (Melbourne and Gold Coast), Risqué Revue (Slide Bar), The Ashton’s Circus, Infamous, Circus Rio, The Xtremo Show, Sydney Hellfire Club, Red Light Confidential, Wanted and Wild, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Melbourne Cabaret Festival and The Australian Burlesque Festival.
After a plethora of adventures, Cirque Songstress returns to Low 302 in her home town with something new to share.
Leave your excuses at home and don’t over think it. Just come. Caution, Meet Wind.
