Carve a Silver Ring: Wax Carving and Casting

The Wax Carving and Casting Workshop is an immersive two-day jewellery-making experience where you’ll be introduced to the fascinating process of lost wax casting from start to finish over two weekends.

Over the two days, you’ll explore a range of wax-working techniques, learning how to carve, shape and refine your design before modelling your own wax ring (or an alternative piece in consultation with your tutor). Once cast in metal, you’ll be guided through the finishing process to bring your piece to completion.

The workshop balances clear technical instruction with space for experimentation and creative exploration.

No prior experience is required — this course is suitable for complete beginners, and you’ll be supported every step of the way.
