There is Wildlife all around us. What can we do to help?
Join us for this free event with Ecology Project Officer Viveca McGhie and learn how to attract and care for wildlife in urbanised areas. Viveca will talk about urban biodiversity; it's importance, the threats it faces and practical steps we can all take to make a difference. Ways to get involved in citizen science and wildlife monitoring programs will also be covered.
A light afternoon tea will be provided.
This is the second of two workshops designed to give participants an insight into urban biodiversity and some ideas about what we can all do to help our local areas become a thriving habitat for native flora and fauna. Tickets to the first event 'Indigenous approaches to Biodiversity' are available.
Information covered in the workshops will be illustrated in a mural to be painted by Sharon Billinge in Camperdown in late 2021 www.sharonbillinge.com
These workshops were made possible with a City of Sydney Matching grant and support from 107 Projects Redfern. Attendees must sign in, wear a mask and be able to show proof of full vaccination on entry. This may change in line with NSW Health Guidelines.
