Canva on Diversity in the Creative Industries

Diversity and inclusion are crucial to the vitality of creative industries yet progress in the sector remains tepid. The sector has often been found to be lacking when it comes to the support, protection and celebration of the diversity of its own members.

For the first half of the session, join Canva’s executive creative director Cat van de Werff and panelists, Kris Andrew Small, Sumita Maharaj, Marley Morgan and moderator Andrew Johnstone, as they discuss current dynamics and how the industry can better support, promote and celebrate diversity and inclusion.

During the second half of the session, the audience will break off into smaller groups for Q&A and to discuss the topic with panelists and select industry mentors organised by the team at Never Not Creative. This will be a great opportunity to tell your story and learn from the experiences of others.
