Brian Campeau at Thunderbolt Club

Brian Campeau is mostly known for his complex guitar playing accompanied by long sorrowful vocals.

He is less known for his charm and willingness to please his audience. Some don’t like his sense of humour. He went on a date once and his date told him never to become a comedian. She’s still single, he's still funny.

Originally from Canada, he’s been in Australia since 2003, so that’s something. He tends not to like being compared to other artists, but sees some value to these comparisons. With this in mind, some say Brian sounds like Nick Drake mixed with Radiohead, Hank Williams, and who knows what else. Others say he sounds angelic, so he'll go with that. Brian will be joined by his incredible band Oli Thorpe (pedal steel), Tully Ryan (drums), Jan Bangma (bass) and Novak Manojlovic (keys).
