Award-winning bassist Brendan Clarke’s quartet returns to Sydney and Foundry 616 after four years in Canberra. Featuring some of Sydney’s most exciting young up-and-coming jazz artists Clarke’s ensemble plays a mix of standards and his own compositions.
Under the leadership of Brendan, this band is well known for presenting an exciting brand of jazz music that is highly satisfying and thrilling to experience live!
Brendan Clarke is a stalwart of Australian jazz, he has played on over eighty albums as well as released three of his own. He has toured both nationally and internationally with a huge range of jazz artists.
In 2001 he was the winner of the National Jazz Award at the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues.
