Wednesday 28 April from 6pm to 7pm

1 in 2 Australians are living paycheck to paycheck and 1 in 3 Australians can’t access $500 in an emergency. Avocado toast isn’t to blame.

Financial illiteracy is a pervasive problem, not only economically, but socially, mentally, and it is affecting us in real life terms every day. The problem is hereditary; it will exacerbate itself and be passed on from generation to generation unless we start to act now.

Fortunately, here is yet another example where technology and innovation can be an enabler for positive change. Today we are lucky to have innovative solutions and financial products coming to market that people can leverage to support their financial wellbeing.

Brad is the Head of Commercial at Earnd, a company with a social purpose to provide employees with the tools required to reach financial freedom, and employers with a solution aimed at tackling the number 1 stress in the workplace - financial stress.

Brad has many years' experience working in finance, law and with NFPs. Prior to joining Earnd, Brad spent 3 years as director of global venture capital firm OurCrowd, 4 years as a corporate lawyer specialising in M&As, and spent time in London working with Investec Bank Plc. Brad also co-founded The Wolfy Foundation, an Australian charity that raises funds and awareness about brain cancer.

Also speaking at this location at 7:30 pm is Sasha Titchkosky.
