Join us as we launch Suzanne Rutland OAM's new book Lone Voice: The Wars of Isi Leibler. Peter Wertheim AM, Co-CEO of ECAJ will officially launch the book.

Isi Leibler has been a central player in the global Jewish arena for over six decades, driving the issue of Soviet Jewry onto the international agenda, and exposing mismanagement in the World Jewish Congress which enabled the embezzlement of millions of dollars at the expense of Holocaust survivors.

He counted two Australian prime ministers among his closest friends and talked plainly to Israeli prime ministers from Yitzhak Rabin to Benjamin Netanyahu, often telling them what they did not want to hear.

Isi exemplified all that was admirable about the Jewish community in Australia: proud to be Australian, tireless in the leadership of his community at home and abroad, and ever willing to confront prejudice and discrimination.” – John Winston Howard, OM, AC, former Prime Minister of Australia.

Renowned Australian Jewish historian, Emerita Professor Suzanne Rutland, OAM, was granted unique access to Isi Leibler and carried out extensive research to write this definitive biography.
