In this class, you’ll learn the 4 hole Japanese stab bind and use it to create your own blank notebook. It’s a simple and decorative stitch that will definitely impress your friends!
You will learn a few common book binding essentials (with tips on how to DIY if you’re that way inclined) and some other fun book making materials which aren’t essential but are fun to play with!
You will walk away with your very own hand stitched notebook!
All materials provided. If you have any pretty scrap papers you would like to use, or book binding materials such as a bone folder, cutting mat, or awl, please bring them along. These are not essential though.
Ages 12+. Any children under this age must be supervised by an adult. We’ll use cutting blades and scissors.
If you have your own book binding project at home and would just like to create with the company of others, feel free to bring it along and share it with us.
