The Dovetails… bring you the best in Blues, Beats and Boogie.
Inspired by the sounds of vintage Americana their unique stylings evoke the glamour and sophistication of the Golden Age of Rock’n’Roll.
This dynamic ensemble has not one but three lead vocalists, Rockabilly Bombshell Miss Pia Andersen, Boogie Woogie Piano man Greg Dean and the unstoppable blues guitar legend Steve Edmonds.
This 5 piece combo also features formidable roots player Artie Taylor on the Double Bass and Jump Jazz aficionado Adam Barnard on the drums.
Think classic rhythm and blues, a touch of soul, something that swings and a whole lot of rock ‘n’ roll.
Mary Heart… hollers rhythm & blues classics as she pumps out driving bass lines on her double bass named ‘Craig’. Sydney’s Mary Heart is an all-out entertainer and pays homage to the greats of the past.
She has a widespread reputation for her unique blend of foot-stomping rhythm and blues, rollicking swing, and blues-based, upbeat rhythms. Heart always shares the stage with the crème de la crème of Australia’s music scene to ensure rip-roaring live shows. She brings the sounds of Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, Wanda Jackson, Ruth Brown and Chuck Berry to let the good times roll.
