Blue Door Sundays returns on Sunday 25 October with a special southern USA inspired pop-up at The Private Kitchen in Chippendale.
Following a sold out inaugural event at The Herring Room in Manly that was met with rave reviews, the pop-up by Chef Dylan Cashman (ex-Vendôme, Sean’s Panorama and Paper Daisy) returns to guide diners through Cashman’s interpretation of the one of the best culinary regions in the United States, the deep south.
“Blue Door Sundays offers a great opportunity for Sydneysiders to enjoy a day out eating delicious food, and allows us to showcase the wonderful produce we have available in Australia in a different way to what people expect” says Chef Dylan Cashman
“Louisiana has some of the richest flavours in American cuisine and I’m looking forward to showing my take on some key dishes over an incredible afternoon of food, wine and music”.
Overlooking the beautiful Kensington Street in Chippendale, Sydney, guests will enjoy a 5-course southern USA inspired degustation complete with wine pairing and accompanied by a curated musical journey by Sam Weiss, one of Sydney’s most in-demand saxophone players and composers.
Made with locally sourced produce, highlights from the menu will include Smoked Aquna Murray Cod gumbo, Fraser Isle Spanner Crab cakes and Game Farm southern fried quail
