Still in the dark about blockchain? Join local experts Adriana Belotti and James Zaki to find out what blockchain actually is and learn about its potential and risks.

Blockchain was first used for the cyptocurrency bitcoin in 2009 – but that’s not its only use. The blockchain platform can efficiently and transparently carry out other types of transactions, creating a completely new way of using the internet. It has the potential to transform finance, governance, supply chain management and much more, creating a fairer world for everyone.

In just 1 hour, you’ll get a better understanding of what blockchain is and explore important issues including:

  • Why and how blockchain is already being used.

  • How this technology could disrupt the way we all do business.

  • Blockchain’s radical potential to usher in a new, fairer world for everyone.

  • How cryptocurrencies could revolutionise money and finance as we know it.

This free event is for curious people from all backgrounds and you won’t need any technical knowledge to enjoy it. There will be opportunities for discussion and questions.
