Big Swings is where comedians road-test brand-new material in front of the friendliest crowd in town. Normally a fortnightly staple at Improv Theatre Sydney, for the ITS Comedy Festival we’re cranking things up with a one-night Big Swings Showcase, featuring festival favourites and beloved regulars.

Expect familiar faces with killer new jokes and maybe a couple that may never see daylight again. Whether you’re a die-hard comedy nerd or just here because your mate said “trust me,” you’ll leave having witnessed tomorrow’s best bits before everyone else.

Featuring Marcel Blanch-de Wilt, Tiffany Spurway, Kurt Sterling, Emma Leonard & Maddie Stokes, Laura Hughes, Kevin Han and Steph Broadbridge. Hosted by John Glover & Andy Procopis.

Improv Theatre Sydney’s 11th Comedy Festival, November 9-16, is a showcase for spontaneous and innovative comedy, packed with 30+ shows and 14 workshops featuring local legends and international guests.

We are Australia’s premier hub for improv comedy, where we’ve been teaching and performing improv for 11 years!
