Enjoy a free Australia Day party with the family at BBQ by the Bridge in Bradfield Park, Milsons Point.
We’re doing it the Aussie way on Australia Day, serving up delicious barbecued cuisines from around the world, including Korean, Brazilian, South American and many more. Live music and free entertainment for all ages will fill the park.
Bradfield Park is the perfect spot to watch the Harbour festivities including the Harbour Parade, Ferrython, Salute to Australia, Tug and Yacht Ballet, Tall Ships Race, and the 184th Australia Day Regatta.
A great line up of live music will fill the park throughout the day, with performances by Bermuda Social, Cavan Te and The Fuss, Evergreen Music and Jellybean Jam.
There will also be free face painting and jumping castles to keep the kids entertained, as well as craft workshops to let them show off their creativity by making clay animals of the world, and traditional sand art pictures to take home.
At midday, Bradfield Park will be a prime position to see and hear The Salute to Australia. North Sydney will be the staging point for an incredible 21 Gun Salute at 11.57am, which will be received by the Governor of New South Wales on HMAS Canberra.
