The City of Sydney is pleased to offer the City Art Free Public Art Walking Tour: Hidden in Plain Sight in Auslan, led by local deaf artists Angie Goto and Sue Jo Wright.
Experience Sydney’s unforgettable and dynamic display of public artworks on a walking tour through our city. Encounter artistic creations that are concealed in laneways, sandwiched between buildings, planted in the pavement and elevated high above the street.
On this City Art tour you will discover newly commissioned and celebrated artworks, including a diverse range of sculptures and installations, as well as digital and light works. Our guides will share with you the stories behind each work and offer new insights and perspectives on the unique ways in which they are fused into the architecture and daily life of Sydney's city centre.
The tour will meet in Macquarie Place Park (36 Bridget Street, Sydney) and conclude within walking distance of Wynyard Station.
