Athésia: Haitian Jazz latin show

Live music, food, dancing and wine at Bastille Festival

Haitian French Canadian singer Athésia is honoured to be singing and sharing a Haitian Jazz Latin French show at Bastille Festival in Sydney/Australia.

Escape the cold and warm yourself up to the aromas of Haiti. Discover Haitian music and dance on the rhythms of Compas, Mini Jazz, Twoubadou, Zouk and Meringue to name a few.

Athésia invites the public to an enchanting evening. Singing Haitian Creole songs and her own compostions from her latest albums with “The Gentlemen”: Michael Coggins (Guitar), Giorgio Rojas (Percussion/Drums), Danny Junor (Saxophone) and Tina Harris (Bass).

Come and enjoy an intimate atmosphere on Saturday 14 July 2018 at 7pm at  The First Fleet Park (Main Stage), 5 minutes walk from Circular Quay train station.

This might actually be the first Haitian performance during an outdoor festival in Australia, so come and discover Haiti and France without leaving Sydney.

French people will be celebrating food, wine and arts, while at the same time, unifying people and countries behind the beautiful spirit of Bastille Day in a giant street celebration. Bastille Festival Sydney sets up not only 4 food villages but 8 wine bars and beer gardens. Experience a wonderful journey of street celebration, the French way!

First Fleet Park, The Rocks NSW 2000, Australia
The show is located on the Main Stage, (First Fleet Park, The Rocks Village) 5 min walk from Circular Quay Station.

Saturday 14 July 2018 from 7pm to 8pm
